With all due respect to Randy Auerbach, I think there are bigger fish to fry than the logo. Many things that are both broke and unbroken that need to be fixed and non-fixed before we get down to the new silhouetted secondary logo.
It's not like we changed the name to the Piping Plovers and are rebranding the entire team- it's a secondary logo. It's a way to move some new merchandise. Let's unclog the logjams in the roster and then we'll work on adding color and definition to what will eventually just be seen on tee shirts.
