The Celtics have been rumored to be interested in drafting Joel Embiid if he slips to number 6. Embiid of course was expected to be the top pick in the draft for most of the year.
That is until a back injury sidelined him for the NCAA tournament and a recent foot injury to the navicular bone cropped up. Foot and back injuries are not something you want to hear about a 7 footer, and so Embiid may just be available when the Celtics pick.
It's one of the most exciting storylines entering tonight's draft. And apparently, the Celtics could very well take the risk of drafting him.
