Vote for Rajon Rondo to receive the NBA's Community Assist Award


Rajon Rondo has been nominated to receive the Kia Community Assist Award, which is given to a player dedicated to making charitable contributions and serving his community off the court.

Fans can vote for their favorite player on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (click on any of the links to vote on that social media website) until May 5th by using the hashtag #KiaCommunityAssist and the player's first and last name in a hashtag (i.e. #RajonRondo).

Charity of Choice: Blue Grass Community Foundation

Rajon Rondo supports many charities: the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Greater Boston Food Bank. He is a spokesperson for the Boston Celtics Step Your Game Up program and has granted numerous wishes this year including one with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition to supporting Boston-based educational programs, he actively gives back to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky by hosting youth basketball clinics. Through his foundation’s efforts, Rondo aims to provide children in low-income areas with safe, reliable resources and hope for the future.
