Rajon Rondo will do color commentary for Monday's Celtics game

Admit it.

Lately, you've been finding it harder and harder to come up with reasons to watch these Celtics miserably flail out in the tail end of the regular season. Its ok.

Thankfully though, CSNNE hears your inner turmoil and has a couple of things up their sleeves to bring some excitement back to Celtics games.

Starting with...star point guard Rajon Rondo doing color commentary!

Boston.com:
Rondo will serve as a guest analyst during the Celtics' matchup with the Bulls on Monday, March 31.

He'll join play-by-play voice Mike Gorman for the first quarter of CSNNE's broadcast, with Cedric Maxwell substituting in for the final three quarters.

All of a sudden that ultimately meaningless game against the Bulls (unless you're watching the tank standings) just became must watch TV for me in that first quarter. Great idea by CSNNE.

Rondo of course won't playing in the game, as he has customarily sat out on the second night of a back to back as he recovers his surgically repaired knee.

Rondo won't be the only celebrity guest either. Chad Finn of the Globe also reports that General Manager Danny Ainge and former Celtic Chris Herren will do color commentary on April 9th and 14th. Herren will also do color commentary on April 12th.
