After charges against Jared Sullinger were dropped Monday in court, it was rumored that punishment may come down on Sully. Today we found out that he will be suspended one game by the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics made the right call to sit Sullinger down for a game. Ainge's statement clearly shows that they felt the need for some kind of repercussion. Thankfully, because the team took action, no punishment will come down from the league.

Sullinger will miss Wednesday night's game in Toronto, and open up the season Friday night at home again the Milwaukee Bucks.
