Kevin Garnett isn't going to Denver, he probably isn't going anywhere

Kevin Garnett a Denver Nugget?! I wouldn't bet on it.

The rumor wheel began swirling again earlier today when a report came out from the Denver Post saying that the Nuggets were asking about the availability of Kevin Garnett.

Mark Kizla of the Post seemed to insinuate that it was almost a done deal that Garnett would be shipped out of Boston. Not so fast. That same report also says Garnett would not waive his no trade clause to go to Denver.

Earlier today, Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski voiced his thoughts on the numerous KG trade rumors on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Felger and Mazz. Woj says Garnett probably isn't heading anywhere and when Woj talks, I usually listen.

As Woj points out, it's unlikely KG waives his trade clause for just about anywhere. He also points out that it would probably take trading Paul Pierce for him to waive it, and also that it's not like teams are going to be offering up very much for aging stars. As we've said repeatedly on this site, what's the point of trading Pierce and KG just for the heck of it?
