Celtics rise to #10 in ESPN power rankings

Jo Jo White, #10
After winning 8 of 9 games (and the one loss coming at the buzzer, on the road, during the second night of back to backs) before the All-Star break, it appears ESPN's Marc Stein is finally taking notice of the C's.  They check in at #10 in today's NBA power rankings, up two spots from last week, and their highest position since the third week of the season.

Stein's got the 28-24 Celtics rated as the 4th best team in the Eastern Conference, ahead of #12 Brooklyn (31-22), #14 Chicago (30-22), and #17 Atlanta (29-22); all teams Boston is still looking to catch in the standings.  The Celts also find themselves just one place behind the Atlantic Division leading 32-18 New York Knicks, at #9.
