Multiple Milestones at the Garden tonight?

Pierce and KG will overtake Parish and Ewing, respectively.
The big story for the Celtics/Hornets game this evening is Doc Rivers vs. his son, Austin.  But, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce also have the opportunity to accomplish some major milestones.  Garnett (24,809) trails Patrick Ewing (24,815) by just 6 points for 16th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.  Meanwhile Pierce (23,317) is only 17 points behind Celtics legend Robert Parish (23,334) for 22nd place.  There's a very good chance we'll see both those marks eclipsed tonight.

Ray Allen (23,336) just passed "The Chief" for the #21 spot on the list Monday.  If Pierce can score 20 by 10:30 pm tonight (there's a later than normal 8:00 pm start) he'll move past Ray as well.  However, Allen would then likely regain his position soon after the Heat tip off at Golden State.
