Doc: "We're still looking for ourselves"

One - That's one good half from you guys this year
As he always seems to do, Doc Rivers spoke the truth at this morning's shoot around when asked about his 3-3 team. Telling the press that the Celts were "Still looking for [them]selves".

However Doc also liked what he saw in the 2nd half against the Bucks on Saturday night, a half that saw the C's outscore a solid Milwaukee team 57-50,

I just like the fact that I thought in the Milwaukee game in the second half we played more like the team we can be

Whether they understand that or not, we’ll find that out. I just thought that’s the closest I’ve seen us as a team this year.

I've got to agree with the good doctor on this one, the C's have now played 12 halves of basketball this season, and the 2nd half in Milwaukee was the best of the bunch (I know, that's not saying much).

As for tonight's game, Rivers declined to comment on what the starting line-up would be against the Bulls, but he did hint that the line-up may include more bigs which makes sense considering Chicago's depth in the front court.

Prediction from me: Darko see's his first legitimate burn of the season - and even score's his first point's as a Celtic. I know, I know - exciting stuff.

Oh and Doc had an opinion on Mr. Pringles himself being named the Lakers head coach, praising D'Antoni's coaching ability and saying,

He’s a hell of a coach. It’s a good fit.

I'll disagree with Doc on this one, as much as I respect the absolute hell out of him. D'Antoni's up tempo game will be tough to implement with a soon to be 39 year old Steve Nash, a 34 year old Kobe, a 33 year old MWP, a 32 year old Gasol and a post back surgery Howard. Don't get me wrong, that team is too damn good to completely tank, but I do not see them having enough depth to be considered the favorites out West. The Lake Show should have gone back to the Zen Master. But I am thrilled that they didn't.
