Unlike Rondo, Joakim Noah doesn't receive suspension for throwing ball at ref

On Saturday night, Joakim Noah was ejected from the Chicago Bulls - Toronto Raptors game after he threw the ball at referee Derrick Collins. See the video above to watch the incident. Noah was fined $8,000, but will not be suspended by the league. He did issue an apology statement to the officials after the game, according to ESPN Chicago.

This differs from the penalties that Rajon Rondo received when he tossed the ball at a ref during the Boston-Detroit game earlier this season. Rondo was suspended 2 games without pay, a far heftier penalty than Noah's.

IMO, the league should be consistent with their penalties for similar offenses. How do you feel about this inconsistency?
