I still remember Reggie Lewis's annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway from 20 years ago. I feel like he was the originator and it's been great to see the Celtics continue the tradition. I must give credit where credit is due. Shaq has really been impressive so far in Boston. He left all the extracurricular stuff back in the Summer and has been all about basketball since putting on the Celtics jersey. He's playing very well and has totally bought into the Celtics ubuntu theme.

I love all the stuff Shaq has been doing around the city, he is really making a big contribution on and off the court. I just read this article on Perkins helping out at Children's hospital: http://www.boston.com/sports/other_sports/articles/2010/11/28/aiming_to_comfort_sick_children_bostons_pros_make_the_rounds/ We really have a great team with a big heart!

Shaq has been terrific- a rebirth on the floor this year. Here's hoping he can stay in shape for the rest of the season and his injuries will be minimal.

Great to see. Should be interesting to see how Doc rotates the minutes when Perk comes back. Injuries of course are the biggest concern for Shaq.

It´s amazing to have Shaq on the team. He´s doing his job in the court, and also he´s been incredibly funny! We have to be grateful for these moments...

Imagine: The Big Cactus against LA in the finals. Gonna happen, baby! All the way...

  5. I'm loving having Shaq in green! It's pretty incredible to think that we picked up a starting center for the vet minimum.

How cute are these kids! Shaq has always represented the Nba with class and continues to do so in Boston. Great to see him playing with such energy. Actually ALL the veterans on the team are looking better than ever. Much love to Perk! Looking forward to seeing him back on the floor soon. Don't even get me started on Rondo-the guy who knocked the crown off Lebron's head.
