The NBA has rescinded one technical assessed to Kendrick Perkins and he will play in Friday's Game 6.
To save face the league didn't rescind the other bogus technical, so the next technical foul in this series (or the Finals) on Perkins will result in a suspension. Expect one of those awesome double technicals at some point (one on each team) and to see Perk miss a game in the future. The league has gotten so soft. This is all because David Stern is so petrified that the league will be looked at as too "gangsta" and lose its following. I don't know about you, but I think fans from the inner city, fans from the suburbs, fans from rural areas, and fans from overseas are all getting really tired of the softness of the league. We liked the 80's when players were allowed to play.

Complete bullshit that both weren't rescinded, but like you said, they'd be admitting how horrendous they are.

Also, did anyone read the interviews from Tim Donaghy predicting the pro-orlando refs last game and pro-suns refs in game 3 or 4? i'm just saying...

what's slightly comforting is that he predicted pro-boston refs tonight :) Look for my next tirade very soon.
