House: strong possibility i will be traded to new york tomorrow. Boston globe
House: i know knicks system
House: i got a call from my agent this morning.
House: At the end of the days this is a business and the Celtics feel they will be a better team with the guys they are trying to get.
House: "Going to New York I have two months to play some real strong basketball and get some wins with those guys."
House: The Celtics feel it’s better for them and wherever I’m going, I have to make it better for me.

I understand it's a business, and it's good Eddie does too, but he must be so bummed. I feel bad for him, kind of, cause you must feel SOME sense of rejection when you get traded, especially from a good team to a bad team. At the end of the day though, he must know he's being traded cause he's good enough to be needed on a team, and he's still gonna make tons of money (relative to us normal working folks).

I wonder what happens to the TV show "My Dad's a Pro"

Btw if Eddie has played his last game as a Celtic, I have to say thanks Eddie for your contributions to #17 and your overall play as a Celtic. Tough seeing guys like Posey, Powe and Eddie who were keys to the Championship season go.

This move makes 0 sense unless there are others coming today. Moving a core guy like Eddie for someone new, even if he is better makes nothing special for the team. It kills chemistry and adds talent which means the same result at the end of the day. We win nothing with this trade.

It seems the Celtics have no problems dealing the players that make the team gel: James Posey, Leon Powe, Eddie House and before Eric Williams, Tony Battie, Kenny Anderson...

I hope there's something more because otherwise it's a sad day for the Celtics

We lose a true Celtic for a player in rental mode...tell me this is not true :(

Thanks for all the big shots, hustle defense and ubuntu spirit, Eddie. Good luck and hopefully you can sign for a big team in the summer.
