Are you supposed to be allowed to take 1.5 steps backwards from just beyond the free throw line to the 3 point line with no dribbles off a rebound without getting called for a travel? Apparently you are if you're LeBron James. After consecutive plays of James bulling his way to the basket, creating the contact to draw a foul, which Paul Pierce wasn't permitted to do tonight, James missed a foul shot and the ball was bounced back to him. He was about one foot behind the free throw line. The NBA 3 point line is 23 feet 9 inches from the top. That means LeBron was allowed to travel about 6.5 feet to shoot a 3 pointer.
Jazz were up 12 in this one with just over 3 minutes to go and lost (had a miraculous comeback win)*. Pretty similar to the Flakers agains the Bucks earlier, when they were down 6 with 1:06 to go.
I don't think I can take this anymore. I'maboutthisclose to not watching basketball anymore because of the officiating. It's disgusting.
*I posted this with the Cavs up 6 with 30 seconds to go. I shut the game off in frustration but as you know, Jazz won this one. I LOVE this game lol!
From now on when TBdamus makes a prediction just say, "Sundiata."

I agree on the travel but I left the game on and Utah just pulled off a miracle three by Sundiata Gaines.
Omg I should take this down- I did shut the game off lmao!
That's hilarious! Look at Aldridge's expression in the background lol.
The pride of the NYC CHSAA comes through tonight- I scored 4 points against Molloy my sophomore year lol!
This guy averages less than 4. lol. Yeah Aldridge looks hilarious. Nice to see the Jazz repping the Sonics jerseys. ;)
That was a travel even by Lebron standards, how was that not called. Thankfully they lost anyway, great shot by Gaines
Aldridge's expression and gait there is like he's looking at his sister's new born baby lmao
