Derrick White 2025-2026 season and playoffs highlight reel

Derrick White averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game across 77 regular-season appearances for the Boston Celtics in the 2025-2026 NBA season. White delivered a historically elite defensive season leading to his first NBA All-Defensive First Team selection.

Derrick became one of only two players in the league to record at least 80 blocks and 80 steals, and his 98 blocks in the regular season were the most by an NBA guard in 17 seasons.

Despite a surprising shooting slump, White high basketball IQ and two-way impact remained invaluable and he finished near the top of the NBA in Estimated Plus-Minus with the Celtics outscoring opponents by a massive margin of +11.5 per 100 possessions during his regular-season minutes. In addition to the aforementioned NBA All-Defensive First Team selection, White also was the winner of the this season's NBA Sportsmanship Award.
