Joe Mazzulla announced as top 3 finalist for NBA Coach of the Year award

The NBA announced the finalists for the 2025-26 regular-season awards yesterday during halftime of the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic playoff game. Joe Mazzulla is a top 3 finalist for NBA Coach of the Year, while no other Celtics are up for any of the the other major awards.

Mazzulla's competition is J.B. Bickerstaff in Detroit and Mitch Johnson in San Antonio. Jayson Tatum was also announced as one of twelve finalists for NBA Teammate of the Year while Derrek White was one of six finalists named for the Sportsmanship award.
