The Eastern Conference #2 seeded Boston Celtics didn't take the Philadelphia 76ers lightly as they had their foot on the gas from tipoff through the final minute. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum scored 26 and 25 points respectively to lead Boston to a 1-0 series lead.
Neemias Queta chipped in with 13 points on a perfect 5 for 5 shooting while Sam Hauser connected on four 3-pointers and also snagged seven rebounds in today's 32 point victory, the largest playoff—opening win in franchise history.
