Throwback Thursday: Tiny Archibald
For today's throwback we have a Hall of Famer and a Boston Celtics champion. Nate "Tiny" Archibald's NBA career (1970-1984) was legendary and was marked by incredible scoring and playmaking, making him the only player to lead the league in both points and assists in the same season (1972-73) with the Kansas City Kings. Archibald was a 6-time All-Star and also the MVP of the 1981 All-Star Game as a member of the Boston Celtics. Archibald would go on to help win an NBA Championship months later for Boston,More Throwbacks
Known for his speed, dribbling, and clutch play, Tiny a three time All-NBA selection, finished off his illustrious carrer by playing five years for the Celtics and one final season for the Bucks before retiring in 1984. Archibald was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1991.
