Celtics sign Wendell Moore Jr ahead of training camp
The Boston Celtics have signed Wendell Moore Jr. to an Exhibit 10 contract for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA season. The one-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary deal serves as a training camp invite to Moore Jr. Moore Jr. will be competing with a crowded field of others in a quest to have his contract converted to a two-way deal.
Moore Jr. was drafted 26th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and has played for the Timberwolves, Pistons, and Hornets over his first three seasons. He saw the most playing time at the end of the 2024-25 season with the Charlotte Hornets.
In 36 NBA games totla last season split between the Detrot Pistons and Charlotte Hornets, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
