Celtics add Luka Garza following Luke Kornet's signing with Spurs

The Celtics made an attempt to retain Luke Kornet, but the center ended up getting offers out of Brad Stevens' conmfort range and is moving on to San Antonio on a four year, $41 million contract.

Not the big name fans were hoping for, but Stevens has added another center agreeing to a two year deal with Luka Garza. The 26 year old center has been a fringe rotation player during his four NBA seasons, the first in Detroit and the last three in Minnesota.

While Garza hasn't even had the limited success Kornet had prior to joining the Celtics, Stevens is taking another shot on another big hoping he can develop in Boston. According to Shams Charania, Garza's deal is a fully guaranteed $5.5 million over 2 years.
