Celtics sign Lonnie Walker IV

We had mentioned yesterday that there could be room for another guard to fill out the Celtics roster. Brad Stevens has done just that inking Lonnie Walker IV to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The deal will give the Celtics the ability to see how Walker fits on the Celtics during training camp before guaranteeing anything. Pretty solid move by Stevens.

Contract details for Lonnie Walker IV with the Celtics, sources said: Exhibit 10. An E10 allows Celtics to give a bonus to Walker if he is waived after training camp and plays for the team's G League affiliate in Maine.

The 25 year old athletic Walker averaged 10 per game last season for the Nets, while shooting an impressive 38% on 3-point attempts.

Just added the explosive Lonnie Walker IV to an already explosive championship team.
