Boston Handles Charlotte 118-104 to Move to 59-16

The Boston Celtics made quick work of the Charlotte Hornets Monday night, winning by a comfortable margin of 14 points. 

Trailing by 2 following the opening period, the Celtics responded with a 65-47 run over the next 24 minutes. 

The Celtics 27-13 road record is now an NBA-best, with the final road game of the season coming in Milwaukee next week.
Boston got great offensive balance in Charlotte, with five players in double figures, including four with 19 points or more.

Jayson Tatum (25 points, 10 rebounds) and Sam Hauser (25 points, 7/11 3PT) were joint top scorers in the game, as JT recorded another double-double in 34 minutes of action. 

Derrick White (19 points, 9 rebounds) and Kristaps Porzingis (20 points, 7 rebounds) were also outstanding, as the four normal starters all had terrific games.

Jaylen Brown missed tonight's matchup as he nurses a left-hand injury. 59 wins is a terrific win total for an entire season, and the Celtics still have seven games left to play.

Boston will battle OKC at the Garden on Wednesday night to clinch the NBA's best record. Enjoy this final stretch of the regular season, Celtics fans; it's about to get fun.
