Celtics Crush Washington 130-104 for Their 5th Straight Victory

The Boston Celtics kept it rolling on Sunday, beating the breaks off the Washington Wizards 130-104.

The Celtics continue to dominate the bottom feeders of the league, moving to 25-1 this season against teams below .500.

This is the sign of a very focused team, as the C's have put an emphasis on not playing down to the level of their competition this year.
Sam Hauser was on a burner in the nation's capital, scoring a career-high 30 points on 10/13 from 3-point range. Sam played just 23 minutes in the game, becoming the first player in NBA history to make 10 or more threes in fewer than 24 minutes.

Jayson Tatum was fantastic, finishing his afternoon with 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in 27 minutes. JT was the catalyst in the opening quarter, scoring 18 points as Boston jumped out to a 45-27 lead after one.

Al Horford continues to flat-out laugh in the face of Father Time. Big Al had another great outing on Sunday, scoring 14 points in just 23 minutes of action.

Payton Pritchard played the most minutes on the Celtics, recording his second-career double-double with 14 points and 13 assists. Boston has won 16 of their last 18 games, pushing their overall record to 53-14. The Celtics lead in the Eastern Conference sits at 9.5 with just 15 games left to play.

Boston will benefit from the easiest remaining schedule in the association as they get closer each day to securing that #1 seed.

The Celtics next game will be Monday night against Detroit. Go Celtics!
