Boston Bounces Back, Defeating Phoenix 117-107 to Snap 2-Game Slide

The Boston Celtics returned to winning ways Saturday night, defeating the Phoenix Suns 117-107.

Boston snapped its two-game losing streak with the victory, avoiding its first three-game losing streak of the year. The C's record through 63 games is 49-14, and their 20-11 record away from home is the best of any team in the Eastern Conference.
Without Kristaps Porzingis, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both showed up to help get the Celtics back on track.

JT was the Celts' top scorer, recording a near triple-double with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Tatum played all 24 minutes in the 2nd half, scoring 22 of his 29 points in the final 2 periods.

JB had another outstanding game since returning from the all-star break, scoring 27 points on 10/21 shooting. Jaylen has averaged 28.1 points per game in his last 8 games, really finding his groove as we head toward the end of the regular season. This was a good bounce-back win for the guys after a couple of close losses against 2 good teams.

Even without KP, the Suns had no answer for the Celtics on the offensive end. Even with a healthy team, I don't see much of a chance for Phoenix to get out of a loaded Western Conference this year due to their lack of depth and perimeter defense.

The Celtics are now 8 games ahead of Cleveland for the #1 seed with 19 games left. They'll go for their 50th win of the season on Monday night.

The Celtics next game will be Monday night in Portland. Go Celtics!
