NBA announces all-star replacements for Joel Embiid and Julius Randle

Atlanta’s Trae Young and Toronto’s Scottie Barnes have replaced Joel Embiid and Julius Randle on the NBA Eastern Conference All-Star team.

Realistically the odds were slim that both Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White would get replacement nods for injured Eastern Conference All-Stars Joel Embiid and Julius Randle, but one being added seemed to be very much in play. Unfortunately it didn't happen this time around. The Atlanta Hawks Trae Young and Toronto Raptors Scottie Barnes have been chosen instead.

The All-Star game is still eleven days away, so there may be more replacements named, but a couple guards replacing a pair of bigs on Tuesday definitely hurt White's future odds,
