Celtics Cruise in Brooklyn Behind Tatum's 41-Point Barrage

Jayson Tatum scored a career-high 31 points in the 1st half Tuesday night as the Celtics defeated the Nets 118-110 in Brooklyn. 

Following a Derrick White layup with 7:49 left in the 1st quarter, The Celtics never trailed again. 

With the victory, the C's became the first team in the league to reach 30 games above .500. 
Jayson Tatum was a man on a mission tonight, putting in one of his best scoring outputs of the season. JT's impressive performance saw him finish with 41 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and a game-high +21.

He wasn't alone though, as the Celtics got at least 14 points from all 5 of their starters. 

Jrue Holiday had another great game on Tuesday. Jrue scored 14 points and dished out a season-high 12 dimes to go along with a +18. This was a great team effort that resulted in a comfortable win on the road. Boston's 42nd win of the season officially clinched their winning record for the 2023-24 season, as they are now 42-12. 

The C's current win streak sits at 5, and they have won 6 games in a row away from home. Boston will have one final game before the All-Star break before the guys can rest up for the closing stretch of the regular season. 

The Celtics next game will be tomorrow night against the Nets at home. Go Celtics!
