Trouble-0-7 Combine For 80 Points as Boston Gets a Huge Win

The NBA's best duo was back on display tonight, as the Boston Celtics got a big-time win against the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-120 in Overtime at TD Garden.

Wednesday night's win set a new franchise record for the most home wins in a row to open a season in Celtics history. 18-0 at home is an incredible accomplishment, as the Celtics really had to dig deep tonight to keep the streak alive.

What an awesome night of Celtic hoops; let's see how they got it done.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were absolutely electric tonight, carrying the offense for the majority of the game.

JT continued his hot start to the new year with 45 points on 13/26 shooting and 6/11 from deep. Jayson's 45-point outing matches his season-high and moves his scoring average in January to 35.8 points per game.

Jaylen Brown has also been hot to start 2024; JB finished tonight's contest with 35 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Not only did Jaylen record his 3rd consecutive 30-point game, he also played some stifling defense on Anthony Edwards down the stretch.

Tonight was one of the best games we've seen from the Jay's in a game they needed to be on against a really good team. After trailing 109-102 with 2:12 remaining in the game, the Celtics made key plays down the stretch on their way to a 9-2 run to force Overtime. Tatum then outscored the Wolves by himself in the extra period, slamming the door in Minnesota's face.

This was a big bounceback win for the Celtics after that ref show that cost them their last game in Indiana. They didn't panic in clutch time and found a way to get the win with some key plays. The Celtics next game will be Thursday night in Milwaukee. Go Celtics!

Remember to keep voting for the Celtics to make it to the all-star weekend!
