Charlotte Hornets trade Terry Rozier to Miami Heat

Defending Eastern Conference Champions the Miami Heat picked up a nice boost today by acquiring former Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier in a trade with the forever rebuilding Charlotte Hornets.

While the Heat have been mostly forgotten in talks regarding Eastern Conference contenders and stand currently only in 6th place, they actually have a better winning percentage than they had last season. And on paper Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier combined with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo is a significantly stronger team than the one the Celtics faced last playoffs.

Rozier who had playoff success with the Celtics gets another shot to now be seen on a bigger stage. Lowry will likley be bought out, while the Hornets will hope that Miami falls apart by 2027, so the first round pick acquired becomes a nice asset.
