Celtics sign Drew Peterson (No not that one)
The Boston Celtics waived Nathan Knight yesterday and today signed Drew Peterson to take the open spot. Peterson will join JD Davison and Neemias Queta to fill the Celtics three 2-way spots.
Peterson played his college ball at Rice and USC and is a undrafted sharp shooter who was recently playing for the Miami Heat's G-League team. Drew Peterson shares the name with the former police sergeant who was infamously found guilty of murdering his third wife. His fourth wife also disappeared prior to his conviction and has nver been found.Peterson's agents with @EquityBBall -- Mike Silverman and Troy Payne -- say the deal is agreed upon and Peterson is expected to join the Celtics as soon as Thursday. https://t.co/gODYHinbp2

The Drew Peterson to our knowledge has never murdered or been accused of murdering anyone.
