Celtics Demolish Bulls 124-97 to Move to 14-4

The Boston Celtics have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament thanks to a 124-97 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night. Boston entered the night needing to win by at least 23 while requiring a Brooklyn win against Toronto. As a result of both of those happening, the Celtics have won Group C in the Eastern Conference.
Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Jayson Tatum also had a solid evening with 21 points and 7 rebounds, while the other 3 starters all shot over 50% from the field.

Following a rough shooting night from 3 on Sunday, Boston responded with a 21/49 performance from behind the arc this evening. The Celtic defense continued to show its dominance, holding Chicago under 100 points on just 43.3% shooting.
This was an excellent win by Boston on a night when they knew what they needed to do to advance to Las Vegas. Boston built a huge lead early and didn't take their foot off the gas the entire game, pushing the lead up to as many as 35.

The Celtics moved to 8-0 at home on the season after the win, the best home record in the league. Boston's next game will be Friday night against Philadelphia at TD Garden.
