Celtics Bounce Back to Remain Perfect at Home

The Boston Celtics bounced back from their loss on Friday, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 113-103 on Sunday night. This was an outstanding defensive performance from the Celtics, holding the Number 2 scoring offense in the league to just 103 points.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way, with JT scoring 34 points and pulling down 9 boards, while JB added 21 points and 7 rebounds. Derrick White added a great spark with 15 points, 11 assists, and a team-high +29 in a 10-point victory.

The story of the night was the Celtic defense. Atlanta came in with 3 consecutive games scoring over 135 points, and Boston held them to just 103 points on 40.9% shooting. Boston's switching coverage gave the Hawks fits, especially Dejounte Murray, who finished the game with just 6 points on 2/13 shooting.
This was a good win for the guys, bouncing back from an ugly 2nd half-performance against Orlando on Friday. Despite only shooting 27.7% from behind the arc, Boston was able to lean on their defense and get the job done.

The Celtics will be back in action Tuesday night against Chicago in their final group play game of the In-Season Tournament.
