Phoenix Suns to waive Chris Paul

Well here's a bit of a surprise. Chris Paul had become old and overpaid, but most NBA teams will be lining up to sign the veteran point guard this offseason on a more palatable deal.

Despite what you think of CP3, if he's healthy he's the type of floor general who would helped the Celtics tremendously versus the Heat. With that said, expect teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat to become favorites to sign Paul. A return to the Clippers could also be a strong option.
