Michael Jordan cashes out in hefty Charlotte Hornets sale

Michael Jordan has sold his majority stake of the Charlotte Hornets, who were valued at a whopping $3 billion. Jordan will remain a minority owner of the team. On the court the Hornets were as far as you can be from a success during Jordan's 13 year ownership, but based on the sale price, owning the team proved to be a huge financial boon for MJ.
