Throwback Thursday: Bill Russell as "The Black Shadow" on SNL

For today's throwback we have video from the late great Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell from when he hosted Saturday Night Live back in their heydey in 1979. This "The Black Shadow" sketch is a parody of the CBS drama The White Shadow which despite only lasting three seasons was a pretty great show in my opinion.

Russell would go on to actually act in one episode of the final season of The White Shadow.
