Tatum continues to make Celtics history

On a night where the Celtics handed the Bucks their 2nd largest home loss in franchise history, Jayson Tatum continued to write his name in the Celtics record books. With 40 points on the night, JT passed Celtics legend Paul Pierce for the 2nd most 40 point games in team history, recording his 22nd.

While the 40 point games over a career are impressive, Tatum also managed to tie Larry Bird for the most 40 point games by a Celtic in a single season, with his 11th of the campaign. If JT manages one more night of 40-plus in the final 5 games of the regular season, then he will stand alone.
