JT calls game! Celtics beat the Sixers 110-107 in Philly
JAYSON TATUM CALLED GAME!! An absolute dagger stepback 3 with 1.2 seconds to play allowed the Boston Celtics to escape Philadelphia with a 110-107 win. Despite not having his best offensive game, JT came through when it mattered most, scoring 8 of his 18 points in the 4th quarter, including the game winner.
Boston got solid contributions from multiple guys tonight, including Derrick White (18 Points, 7/9 FG, game high +25), Jaylen Brown (26 Points, 10/21 FG), and Robert Williams III (14 Points, 8 Rebs, 7/7 FG). Al Horford (15 Points, 5/8 3PFG) also provided a huge spark in the 3rd quarter, making 4 of his 5 three pointers in the period when Boston needed them most. After falling behind by as much as 15 in the 3rd, Boston closed the quarter on a 18-3 run to take a 2 point lead into the final frame. The Celtics were able to build a 97-87 lead in the 4th quarter, but were unable to push it out of reach. After Joel Embiid knocked down 2 free throws with 10 seconds remaining, the score was deadlocked at 107. That's when the moment happened. Our superstar made a play that only a few players in the league can make, catching the ball at full speed before slamming on the breaks and lacing a 3 ball. Embiid did make a miraculous shot to tie it shortly after, but the shot wasn't released before the final buzzer sounded.JT CALLED GAME 🤯 🤯 🤯 pic.twitter.com/qkchuiVdHF
