The Boston Celtics will get a huge boost tonight in their battle against the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden. This boost will be provided by the return of their starting point guard Marcus Smart, who has missed the previous 11 games with a high ankle sprain. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year is averaging 11.1 points and a career high 7.2 assists in 41 appearances this season. The Celtics have won the previous 9 games Smart appeared in prior to his injury, while posting a 6-5 record with Smart out of the lineup battling his bum ankle. Look for Marcus to make an impact on the floor tonight in what will be the Celtics last game before the All-Star break.
