Oklahoma City Thunder minus SGA embarrass Boston Celtics 150-117
Five Oklahoma City Thunder players scored over 20 points as the Boston Celtics tonight had one of those embarassing losses to a sub .500 team that plagued them last month. Of course the Celtics said all the right things after the game, but this group has always been good at post game pressers.
League is too tough to pick and choose when to play hard. Recent Celtics Finals history (2010, 2022) tells us Boston needs to never take their foot off the gas.

Better to learn this lesson (again) in the regular season than in the playoffs.
Win in Dallas on Thu https://t.co/tuq7yDIfkl
The 33 point loss was the most the franchise has lost a regular season game by in twenty years. The Thunder shot 50% on 3's for the game while the Celtics were a pedestrian 30% from beyond the arc. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 29 and 27 points respectively in the 150 to 117 blowout loss.
The Celtics fall to 26 and 12 and will look to get out of this New Year's funk when they play Luka Doncic and the Mavs Thursday night in Dallas.
