Celtics fall in overtime to Knicks 120-117

Jayson Tatum and the Celtics came back to force overtime, but Jaylen Brown missed two crucial free throws in the final minute when the Celtics had the chance to take the leas and the Knicks escaped with a 120-117 win. The Celtics were outscored 10 to 2 in the final 2:45. It was the Celtics third staright loss this week.

Julius Randle scored a game high 37 points while Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with 35 points in a losing effort. After helping the Celtics secure overtime, Tatum had an opportunity to hit a 3 to force double overtime, but had no such luck.

The Celtics fall to 35-15 and will look to get back on the winning track when LeBron James and the Lakers make their lone Boston visit on Saturday night.
