Boston Celtics defeat Brooklyn Nets 103-92 to kick off 6 game road trip
The Celtics played this one without Marcus Smart, but still allowed a season low of 92 points. Jaylen Brown (34 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals), Jayson Tatum (29 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals) and Malcolm Brogdon (13 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists) led the way as Boston bounced back from their overtime loss to the Heat Friday night.
Kevin Durant (31 points) kept the Nets in the game, but former Celtic Kyrie Irving shot them out of it by only connecting on seven of his twenty-one attempts. Boston improves to 19 and 5 on the season. They'll fly across the border to Toronto tonight in preparation for their game with the Raptors Monday night.
