Marcus Smart returns and leads Celtics to victory as they demolish Heat 27-102 to even up series
Quite the come up for Celtics fans today. Woke up with the news that Derrick White would be out today and the team could be down to just one point guard, to not only Marcus Smart playing, but Al Horford as well. And Marcus Smart and the Celtics put on a show putting up 70 points in the first half on their way to an easy 127-102 blowout win.
Smart played 40 minutes and finished with 24 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds, and his regular DPOY defense. Tatum and Jaylen added 27 and 24 points apiece, while Grant Williams chipped in with 19 off the bench.
Jimmy Butler led all scorers with 29 points in the Heat's loss. The scene shifts to Boston for Game 3 Saturday night.
