Giannis, Bucks, and refs defeat Tatum and Celtics 103 to 101 in Game 3
Despite monster double doubles by Al Horford and Jaylen Brown, the Celtics lost to the Bucks Saturday afternoon in Game 3 by a final score of 103-101. Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 42 points in the win, while Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart (in his return) both struggled.
The Bucks owned the 3rd quarter, but the Celtics came back in the 4th quarter. Marcus Smart looked like he would be getting 3 free throws to tie up the game in the closing seconds, but the refs ruled it a non shooting foul. Smart then had to miss the second shot on purpose, which he did, but the Celtics weren't able to convert on the miss, so the Bucks survive and now hold a 2-1 series lead.

Horford finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks, while Jaylen Brown added a team high 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists in the loss. Game 4 on Monday now becomes more or less a must win for the Celtics.
Many Celtics fans and head coach Ime Udoka were not happy with some of the no calls in Game 3.
Ime Udoka not happy with some of the calls late. “I’ll teach my guys to flop a little more.”

The refs missed some calls today but the Celtics shot 34 free throws to Milwaukee’s 17 so if they were trying to rig it for the Bucks they covered their tracks incredibly well
