Game 2 recap: Celtics blow 17-point lead, lose 106-101 to Miami
Once
again, the Celtics blew a double-digit lead. Celtics had a 17-point lead but
were outscored 37-17 in the 3rd quarter. Duncan Robinson came out firing and
finished the game with 6 3-pointers. Bam Adebayo had a great game with 21 points
and 10 rebounds and really made it hard for the Celtics to get anything going
in the paint. Goran Dragic had a huge 4th quarter and hit some big
shots while finishing with 25 points. lt was a sloppy night for the C's as they
had 20 turnovers as a team with Tatum and Walker each having 5. Kemba looked
alive again despite his recent struggles and finished with 23 points and 7
rebounds. It was a real promising sign seeing Kemba finally play like himself
but despite Tatum and Brown each having 21 points, the Heat pulled out the 106-101
victory. The Celtics are now down 0-2 and have a must-win game Saturday night.
They’re looking like they really need Gordy back.
