BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks have chosen to boycott game 5 vs the Orlando Magic

The Bucks players made this decision in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting in Wisconsin, ultimately deciding that they wouldn't leave the locker room for the start of Game 5 against Orlando. https://t.co/COJ6E0aJLj— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) August 26, 2020
Bucks guard George Hill says to @TheUndefeated his team is not playing against Orlando tonight in light of shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisc. “We’re tired of the killings and the injustice,” Hill to @TheUndefeated.

Lots still to be determined here. My guess is the Magic will also boycott and thus there won't be a win by forfeit. Also could see all the NBA teams boycott their next games. The Bucks of course are the team from the state that Jacob Blake was shot in, so this obviously hit close to home for them. My guess is the NBA powers that be would prefer some boycotts over players leaving the bubble to protest, especially considering all the precautions they put into place to make the bubble work. Obviously this is a developing story and we'll update this post with all additional details.

Just a guess, but I definitely could see the Magic now boycotting as well. I don't think the Magic want the negative PR that would come with them not supporting the cause. And I also don't think the NBA wants negative PR that would come with them punishing the Bucks. https://t.co/hRBClL4sJT

There's also the possibility that the Magic players could be encouraged not to boycott as the Bucks losing due to a boycott forfeit is a much bigger story and grabs more headlines than a game being postponed. https://t.co/n3NEOMXcg1

The Magic have chosen not to accept forfeit win, so both teams have boycotted and we now wait to hear what the NBA says and other teams do. https://t.co/F8ikdqY2Tc
