Javonte Green's contract becomes fully guaranteed for the season
The Celtics last week had the opportunity to waive Javonte Green and be off the hook for the rest of his salary this season. They wisely let that deadline pass and the 26 year old, undrafted Green now gets his full salary for the season. Green has been a feel good NBA story of a player who kept at it until finally getting his NBA shot at the age of 26 and making an impact when called upon. Congrats Javonte.
