Avery Bradley to sign with Lakers, reunite with Rajon Rondo in their backcourt
Once guard Avery Bradley clears waivers today, he plans to sign a two-year, $9.7M deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agent Bill Duffy of @BDA_Sports tells ESPN. Bradley will have a player option on the second season.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) July 8, 2019
After failing in their quest to sign prize free agent Kawhi Leonard, the Lakers continue to sign basically everyone that's left. Bradley's game fell off pretty dramatically in Detroit and with the Clippers, but he showed some signs of regaining his old form during the end of this past season with the Grizzlies.
Was weird seeing Rondo sporting the purple and egg yolk last season and will be weird again seeing the former Celtics backcourt sharing a new home in L.A.
