Tatum, Irving trying their hand at basketball, shoe design

With the offseason swinging into full gear for the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum and Kyrie Irving are trying their hand at design.

Tatum, for his part, recently helped design a signature basketball for Abercrombie & Fitch's FIERCE cologne, a snazzy little green orb that fits well in the Boston colorways you can get your mitts on by following the instructions Taco Jay posted in the Instagram post embedded below.

Kyrie, on the other hand, linked up with Boston-area designers Bandulu to create a slick new Nike Kyrie 5 shoe with embroidered "paint" splotches adorning the kicks.

No word on when those shoes will be available, nor how to land one of those Abercrombie rocks outside of the promotion, but the Bostonian angle -- at least for Irving -- is certainly better to read about than some La La Land or Big Apple designer.

As you were.
