Former Celtic Kenny Anderson recovering after suffering a stroke

NYC hoops legend and former Boston Celtics point guard Kenny Anderson suffered a stroke over the weekend, as reported by The New York Post and other outlets.

I personally know Kenny and have the honor of calling him a friend. No joke. He's undoubtedly one of the most sincere, realest, kindest people you'll ever meet. He's also tough as nails and will bounce back -- I'm sure of it.

A 14-year veteran, Anderson played for the Celtics from 1998-2002. Most recently, he's been on the sidelines as head coach for the Fisk University Men's basketball team.

From all of us at CelticsLife, we wish Kenny a speedy recovery.
