Report: There is mutual interest between Jamal Crawford and the Celtics

I wrote in CelticsLife recently that the Celtics should consider signing free agent Jamal Crawford, and there may be some movement in that direction.


According to NBC Sports Boston's A. Sherrod Blakely:

The Athletic's Jared Weiss, on a CLNS Celtics Beat podcast with Adam Kaufman, said there "is mutual interest between the Celtics and Crawford. That I do know."

The 6'5" Crawford has been searching for the right situation, and that could very well include the best possibility of garnering his very-first Championship ring. The Celtics appear to be a very good fit for him - and he for them. He is a combo guard, 3-point shooter, very good ball handler - and he is a 3-time NBA Sixth-Man-of-the Year.
