Former Boston Celtic and Hall of Famer Jo Jo White dead at 71
Today is a tough day for Boston Celtics fans worldwide.
Jo Jo was a longtime supporter of the club even after having been traded to the Golden State Warriors in 1979, having won two titles with the Celts in 1974 and 1976, also making All-Star seven times between 1971 and 1977.

Legendary Celtics point guard Jo Jo White passed at 71 years young after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. White, who played for Boston for nine seasons after being drafted ninth overall by the club in the 1969 NBA Draft, was inducted in the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2015.We are terribly saddened by the passing of the great Jo Jo White.
